How do I earn points?

Each time you make a contribution to the How To Practice community you get awarded points.

When you register for an account you get your first point. Thereafter you get points every time you make a post, comment, vote, blog entry, invite or pretty much anything else.

As you earn more points you will climb the rankings and eventually gain access to resources reserved for those that have made a contribution to the community.

You can also give points to other users if they have helped you. The site admins and mods will also be on the lookout for those that help others and will award discretionary points for helping other and knowledge sharing.

Be aware that admins and mods will also be on the look out for those trying to bump their points totals without making any real contribution and may remove points for this.

If someone has helped you and you think they deserve recognition let us know and we'll try to reward them in one way or another.
