Using your Facebook account on HTP

Creating an account on HTP is free and enables you, amongst other things, to access the files in our downloads section.

If you have an existing Facebook account you can now connect to HTP using that account. There is no need to create a new username or password.

The process is very simple. Around our site you will see Facebook buttons that look like this:

These are found on our login forms.

Click on this button and the following window will appear:

This enables our site to connect with Facebook to get your account details. Users of Facebook will have seen this many times when using applications like Flickr, Scrabble, Farmville etc.

Click on connect and you will be presented with two options. If you already have an account on HTP you can connect it to your Facebook account. Most people who do not already have a HTP account will choose to "Create a new How To Practice with Facebook"

On the next screen you will enter a couple of details to create your HTP account and also verify that you are a real user.

Click Submit and that's it!! You can now connect to HTP with your Facebook details. Simply click the Facebook button.


If at any stage you want to check, update or change your Facebook account connection you can do this in "My Account" under the "Facebook Connect" tab. You also have a few other options here to share with Friends or use your Facebook profile picture.
